Clarins Lip Comfort Oil Review
This Clarins Lip Comfort Oil has a texture more akin to lip gloss than oil; it provides initial hydration but fails to maintain it. While it’s not overly sticky, I’m hesitant to recommend it, given the hefty £25 price tag.
Facetheory muslin cloths
I have around 15 of these cloths and have bought extras for my teens as they love them too. We use them to wash our face in the mornings and evenings, and also to take make-up cleanser off (we use cleansing balms).
Laneige lip mask dupe
I’ve been using this lip balm (or sleeping mask) from w7 that’s a really good dupe for the Laneige lip sleeping mask. I’ve been using it for a few months now, so I feel I can give it a fair and just review. It’s vegan & cruelty-free.
Eyelid tape review for hooded eyes
Who needs to talk about hooded eyelid tape? If you’re in the know, you’ll have seen these nifty little stickers for hooded eyes that help to lift your lids and show more of your eyelid area – great for mature lid droop too!

Absolute Collagen was not a brand I’d come across before 2020 but with some users of the brand reporting visible improvements to their skin and hair/scalp condition, I wanted to see what it could do for me.
Body Shop British Rose Face Mask
The marketing spiel about this face mask promises to quench your skin and give a youthful, dewy glow after use. I’ve mainly used this when having a bath so the results may have been skewed with my plumped pink face from the heat.

Weleda Skin Food first captured my eye when I saw it on a particular ITV daytime show and it’s now a staple in my middle-aged skin bag of tricks. I will warn you that the cream is very thick! But it’s so lovely it can be forgiven for that.
Facetheory Amil C Whip Review
It should come as no surprise that I LOVE this moisturising cream. I just feel like it’s completely different to everything else I’ve tried and I feel so much better about using natural ingredients and it has a gorgeous texture that glides over the skin.

Yoga – how it helped me to heal
I’m in no way a fitness fanatic. I survived my 20s and 30s on cheese and crisps alone and went to the gym for the first time aged 37 (and subsequently quit a few months later). However, I’m now a yoga convert; promise not to preach.

Comedogenic, what does it mean?
When a skincare product is described as comedogenic, it means that one or more of its ingredients could clog our pores. It comes from the word ‘comedome’, which is a type of non-inflammatory acne (such as whiteheads).
