THE MIDDLE AGE BEAUTY
I review the best products for mature skin and give my honest opinion. Why? At 45 I fell out of love with the products I’d been using in my 20s and 30s, so I decided that a middle-age crisis beauty overhaul was in order and this blog is the result!
I also share articles and blogs that I’ve written about other topics that affect middle-aged women such as mental health, health, hair care (if we’ve got any left after raising children), and other such ramblings. I’ve even opened a feminist clothing and accessories shop too! I hope you’ll enjoy reading my blog and hope to see you on my social media soon.
Facetheory muslin cloths
I have around 15 of these cloths and have bought extras for my teens as they love them too. We use them to wash our face in the mornings and evenings, and also to take make-up cleanser off (we use cleansing balms).
My quest to find the best products for middle-age skin
You can find all my beauty recommendations for mature skin right on my middle age beauty blog. I only review or recommend things that I’ve tested for an extended period of time. This is in case anything causes an allergic reaction or has side-effects over time. I pay for every single one of the products I review from my own pocket and am always unbiased and impartial – see my disclaimer for more info.
What do I review?
Skin care
I love to find the best products for middle-age skin and trying out new skincare products is my favourite pastime.
Make-up
I don’t wear much make-up so what I do buy is usually luxury brand. I subscribe to Glossy Box so get to try different things too.
Hair care
I have fine, level 6 hair that I like to colour a lot. I’m well known for spending too much on hair care products!
Other shiz
I’ll give anything a go and love to try out beauty accessories and tools. I also try out hair extensions and care products.
