Facetheory muslin cloths review

I’ve been using Facetheory muslin cloths for around 4 years, so it’s only taken me a short while to review them…
Here’s a link if you want to skip to the facetheory product page, as I know a lot of you do.
I have around 15 of these cloths and have bought extras for my teens as they love them too. We use them to wash our face in the mornings and evenings, and also to take make-up cleanser off (we use cleansing balms like Elemis cleansing balm and The Body Shop cleansing butter (more eco-friendly). They wash well and add an exfoliating element to your skincare routine.
What the brand says
Facetheory muslin cloths – how they work
The facecloths are great for gentle exfoliation and cleansing. The tightly woven fabric allows you to scrub away debris and dirt with light pressure, making it suitable for daily use in the morning and evening. You can also use them with your favourite skincare products or with water to gently exfoliate sensitive areas such as the lips.
When it comes to cleansing, apply your cleanser to the skin and use circular motions to massage it in, making sure to avoid the eyes. Clean your cheeks, forehead, and nose thoroughly before wiping away the product with your muslin cloth and water. These cloths also work well with various cleansers, including oils and balms (my faves mentioned above).
Facetheory muslin cloths – results
I mentioned how long I’ve been using these muslin cloths, and also how many I have. The reason is because they work! Now, I’m sure you could use any muslin cloths (as do I), but these last me longer, and they look really nice too. For me, they’re a gentle way to exfoliate my mature middle age skin while I’m cleaning my face.
My adult daughter also uses these and is as happy as I am with them. Add all this to the fact that facetheory is an eco-aware brand with almost all of its packaging being recyclable makes it a winner for me. They are also UK-based and completely vegan.
